چکیده
Diverse parallel stitched 2D heterostructures, including metal-semiconductor, semiconductor-semiconductor, and insulator-semiconductor, are synthesized directly through selective "sowing" of aromatic molecules as the seeds in the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method. The methodology enables the large-scale fabrication of lateral heterostructures, which offers tremendous potential for its application in integrated circuits.

متن کاملLateral heterostructures of two-dimensional materials by electron-beam induced stitching
We present a novel methodology to synthesize two-dimensional (2D) lateral heterostructures of graphene and MoS2 sheets with molecular carbon nanomembranes (CNMs), which is based on electron beam induced stitching. Monolayers of graphene and MoS2 were grown by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) on copper and SiO2 substrates, respectively, transferred onto gold/mica substrates and patterned by elect...
متن کاملPotassium induced stitching of a flexible tripodal ligand into a bi-metallic two-dimensional coordination polymer for photo-degradation of organic dyes.
A novel strategy for the stitching of a tripodal ligand into a bi-metallic two-dimensional (2D) coordination polymer has been reported. The reaction of 5-nitrosalicylaldehyde based ligand H3L with nickel acetate resulted in the metal functionalized 2D extended network via potassium induced activation of the nitro group of the ligand. The compound is highly active towards photo-degradation of or...
متن کاملImage Stitching of the Computed Radiology images Using a Pixel-Based Approach
In this paper, a method for automatic stitching of radiology images based on pixel features has been presented. In this method, according to the smooth texture of radiological images and in order to increase the number of the extracted features after quality enhancement of initial radiology images, 45 degree isotropic mask is applied to each radiology image to observe the image details. After t...
